Courtney Hite - Executive Assistant

Courtney Hite joined the CHASE Solar Fuels Hub team in November 2020 after pursuing a Master’s degree in Anthropology from East Carolina University (ECU). During her time at ECU, she gained experience in conducting research as well as data analytics and management, which led to her interest in research centers. Courtney Hite has a strong administrative background as well as long standing ties to UNC Chapel Hill. After graduating from UNC Chapel Hill with Bachelor’s degrees in Anthropology and Archaeology, she went on to work in administrative roles at UNC including at the Carolina Union, School of Nursing, and the Hussman School of Media and Journalism. 

As the CHASE Executive Assistant, Courtney is responsible for providing administrative assistance to the CHASE Solar Fuels Hub. She serves as the primary administrative point of contact for the center and the CHASE Directorate. In her role she handles management and support of CHASE events and logistics, management of information databases and archives, and assisting in CHASE budget management.
