Elena Jakubikova is an Associate Professor of Chemistry at North Carolina State University. She received her Ph.D. in Chemistry (2007) and M.S. in Mathematics (2005) at Colorado State University and worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Theoretical Division at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Her research is focused on various aspects of computational chemistry, with a special interest in photochemistry and excited-state dynamics of first-row transition metal complexes, as well as molecule–nanoparticle interfaces.
