Beverly (Bev) Gedvillas

Bev joined CHASE as the Research Program Administrative Coordinator in October 2025.

Prior to joining CHASE, Bev served as the Program Coordinator for the Master’s Program in Biomedical Engineering at Duke University from 2015 to 2025. She relocated to North Carolina in 2015 from Cornell University, where she held several administrative roles over the years.

From 2006 to 2015, she was the Purchasing and Risk Liaison for the Division of Nutritional Sciences. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2006, she served as the Administrative Supervisor overseeing faculty support staff for the Sibley School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.

One fun fact about me is Bev is that she has a passion for graveyard and cemetery care and management. She has a small business to clean and maintain gravestones and has done record management for small towns who need help with updating their records.
