CHASE PI Sharon Hammes-Schiffer receives 2021 ACS Award in Theoretical Chemistry

CHASE PI Professor Sharon Hammes-Schiffer has been awarded the 2021 American Chemical Society (ACS) Award in Theoretical Chemistry! The award “recognizes innovative research in theoretical chemistry that either advances theoretical methodology or contributes to new discoveries about chemical systems”. Sharon’s work in CHASE aims to use NEO-DFT methods to understand quantization of protons in periodic systems and to study proton-coupled electron transfer reactions in electrochemical double layers. Congratulations Dr. Hammes-Schiffer!
